What do you guys think of this deal? The guy has 4 BFG AT's 285/75/16 and one GY 265/75/16 on Chevy rims for $250 (might do $225). Three BFG's have 60-70% tread and one is more 40-50% with some light cracking. I'd sell the Chevy rims (maybe $100) and the GY and look for another BFG similar to the 3 nice ones. Craiglist ad is incorrect. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/3326270338.html

    Good BFG

FYI for anyone buying tires. Sometimes the cracking is due to being out of date. Yes, tires have code dates on them. There have been reports of tires failing because of this. A lot of the small tire stores sell tires cheap because they buy them in lots of expired dates. I ALWAYS check the dates. You will be surprised what you find out there being sold. I believe there is no penalty or law being broken in selling out of date tires, because the date is displayed. Check out how to read tire dates here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?index.jsp=&s_kwcid=TC|21263|_cat:tirerack.com||S|b|6698650813&techid=11

I have been so busy with fire season I have not been able to post on here. I really only had a chance to talk with a couple folks before I got busy. I'm posting two pics of my Tacoma, One 4 days ago and one right after the deer strike! Suck!! Jay, If your still in GV I would like to pick your brain when I get her back from the shop. I did score a scooped hood from the auto body shop!

Thanks for not posting pics of the doe!
Just my opinion, but from what I can see, I don't think they will total it, probably bent the radiator frame but i don't think it bent the frame.

I got a quote for 8 grand today. It was an insane impact! It dropped to me to my knees on the hwy when I got out of the truck. BTW...no airbag deployment cause she jumped over the bumper into the grill
