Um. Even here in the Bay Area, it's gonna run you about $30/mo for water if you're a water hog and it's not included in your rent. Maybe the complex charges for water/sewer/trash in one bill?

What exactly is the point of this?

Would it be more long travel oriented?

It's not LT oriented, it's MT oriented. The retarded thing is hardly anybody rocking a 2.5" coilover MT setup will ever get the oil hot enough to justify a secondary shock. A properly valved coil carrier will work every bit as good and keep thousands of dollars in your pocket.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....a secondary shock really only serves three purposes.
    1) Add additional valving. Can be eliminated by revalving coilovers, but at the cost of heating up the shock oil faster
    2) Additional oil capacity.
    3) Attract bitches.

What Icon is attempting to do, is reel in the n00bs that want their shit to look BAMF without having any welding skills. Everything is bolt in. They are doing it with their rear hydro bump too...and at a hearty premium. The sickening thing about this setup....look how low the secondary sits. The secondary will bottom out well before the primary coilover does. Means you'll actually loose uptravel.

Hahaha. I thought it looked pretty useless and a bit overkill. Could it maybe be useful for a truck that races dirt tracks and sees a lot of whoops at rapid speeds? Where would that second shock even bolt on to? Since it's at an angle, wouldn't it be similar to how the rear shocks can be moved to a different angle to allow longer shafts and more travel? In the sense of not limiting the travel of the first shock.

Any time the shock compresses and rebounds it will create heat. The more it moves, the more heat it makes.

Looks like the top is bolted to the top of the coil bucket. No idea where the bottom of the shock hoop bolts too, prob the frame somewhere.

If a shock is angled more, you get the same suspension travel numbers with less shock shaft travel. This inadvertently also causes more heat as the shock has to do more work for less shaft travel. But as pictured, regardless of the angle, that secondary will bottom out way before the primary will.

    Yes you can.
You have a DB lift so you've already made your truck functionally useless but a bro hoe magnet. :p

I see, interesting. Icon reminds me of how Mossberg is for shotguns. They make stupid shit and people still buy it. I almost wonder if Mossberg just trolls the market with their chainsaw shotgun and stuff.

    I own a mossberg :spy:
