Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
All my guys were sent back to base to launch all of them... Don't know where they bugged them all out to.

Base housing was evac'd. Not sure where everyone else is going... Don't have a big enough house here to host anyone yet. Shitty thing is a lot of people on base don't think renters insurance is needed, so if fire does happen, a lot of people are screwed. A lot of those families have never had to live on the local community... And if houses are gone it'll take a while to find them places to live.

I was talking to this gal today and she had the most beautiful eyes.

What I hate is the stupidity of wearing a thicker mask while working behind the spray guard. You cannot hear shit. Dumb.

I don’t speak very loud to begin with. Most struggle to hear me in general. With the mask on, and the plexi...I might as well not even bother. 6 ft away, forget it, I’m not even going to try.

    What?

But you're 100% right. And what's worse, is people behind the glass don't know better-and I'm not trying to dig at them either.

YOU GOTTA GIVE THEM A BREAK. THEY PROBABLY DON’T GET PAID MUCH AND ALL IT TAKES IS ONE ANNOYING PERSON TO RUIN THEIR DAY.

That’s why I said I didn’t want to dig at them. We are all trying to deal with a new reality.

Many of our guys at work had to evacuate as they live in the North Bay. Helping people shuttle this morning because we moved a bunch of equipment/trucks. 2020 is absolute shit. As said before, let me know if anyone needs assistance.

Love the smell of fires, but only when camping.

I was up in Seattle for the last big fire up there... I think it was the year prior to the last big Napa fire here. Sucks. Tired of smoke and ash

Just watched the news and a quick update on the fire. Basically between 9 and 17, and 1 and 35 is either under evacuation or being told to be ready to evacuate. Big Basin State Park's HQ building and parts of the campground have sustained damage. Seeing Empire Grade on fire was surreal. Fire is in Boulder Creek and Ben Lomond. :(

    This is crazy.

I am good. Got a bit scary there for a bit but we made it unscathed. Have many friends who lost everything though. Tough to see.

This was around 9-10am in Scotts Valley. Grabbed some documents/mementos from my parent’s place who are out of town while they were still under evacuation warning - that is where I grew up. Neighbors were leaving/prepping to leave that day. They’re around Lockwood/Graham Hill. Ash was on the ground everywhere and it was very hazy. Inside of the truck smells like fire now and I was there maybe for an hour to an hour and a half. The clear picture is from the Summit where the Summit House Grill is. Winds looked to be pushing it Southeast direction? It wasn't clearing the ridge there and it was clear soon after Laurel Rd. Just surreal being there.

In San Jose by 280/17 if anyone affected nearby needs supplies or anything.
