I bought my system in 2016, I paid for it in full once it was operational. $35,000. My power bill went from about $200 a month average to one bill a year of about $100. $13,000 tax credit he first year after installation. I have 27 panels and inverter. Thinking about upgrading to battery back up next year.

Do not lease the panels, if you do, the company gets to keep the tax credit. Unless it is a 0 percent loan I would pay cash if you can swing it.

I used a company from Salt Lake City and I live in Northern Calif. They were willing to make the trip to get the business.

    Best advice.

They'll give you a bunch of reasons why a lease is better. In the end, you don't own the panels and they own your roof.

And you will have a hell of a time selling your house.

a bunch of homes in our area have sold In the first weekend. All but one. It has a relatively new solar panel system.

you buy the house and assume the lease of the system. No one wants that hassle.
    I know I wouldn’t

Finally got my center ball for my double cardon!

Spent two hours pushing the needle bearings around every time I went to put it together then putting them back in their proper spot.

I’m now a very patient person...

    Back at it tomorrow!

Once you get the needles set keep the joint upright. Then take your grease gun and SLOWLY push grease into the cup. That will keep the needles from falling out every time you try and move the joint.

Yeah I greased them every time I got them set.

It’ll be worth it this time so I have a spare (one I order my new driveline) but I get why no one rebuilds these things. I have almost 5 hours into it so far.

I'm not talking a little grease. I'm talking about filling the whole cup with grease. Like you'd pack a wheel bearing.

Was there mashed potatoes? Unless there was, it's not the kind of party I'm interested in. :laser:
