That does suck for them, but glad it wasn't your truck! You were parked in the same lot? Lucky!

If it makes you feel better, I have also become convinced my previous car was making an AWFUL noise and it was a little nerve-racking-- turned off the stereo, rolled my windows down, scanned the cars around me and spotted an old Oldsmobile that was the source of the noise. Phew.

 

Happy your cat didn't get stolen either. It's very scary to even think that.

I've left my car & truck overnight in some sketchy places parked on the street and nothing bad has happened yet. Once there was a homeless guy sleeping in the bed when I went out in the AM but that's it. I feel pretty lucky.

 

So did you slowly re park the truck somewhere else totally random so that when he woke up he'd be like: "Oh man, where dahell am I? That cheap booze did me in AGAIN!"

 

Nah, it was like 5:50am, I don't deal with irate people until I go on the clock so I just woke him up and waited with my dog while he PUT HIS PANTS ON and got out and then peed near the meter. Yay Tenderloin! Plus, I would have driven him across the bridge and Berkeley already has enough pantsless homeless folks without me trucking in more

Just got home from the game...no voice...no clue WTF I just lived through. Strangest game of my life. Refs letting clock run hella long numerous times, oddball calls, 2 fake punt conversions, and a fucking tie. I seriously think I busted a blood vessel in my head. My right temple feels like a spoon is prying out my eyeball. WTF?
