    In progress.... And getting better!
What’s up y’all! Anyone had the exhaust reroute mod done in the Petaluma area? If so, what was your experience and how much did they charge. Thanks!

Never had a reroute done but Kelly at Muffler Works has always been fair to me. He did a mandrel cat back for my Lexus and did a good job.

Kimo is doing pretty well. We've had a few minutes of crying and one pee in the crate, otherwise he’s doing really well.

He’s very good at being a retriever. He enjoys short breaks on the porch, especially to watch the geese flyovers in the evening.

pulleys have a pair of 1" lag screws at each corner to attach to the roof. cleats are holding each rope.

is this safe or am i fixing to murder my cats?

    But in happier news.

My son's Subaru clutch has been replaced (and flywheel)

Respect Auto in Modesto is legit. Did a great job. Turned it around in 2 days (and that's with having to order the Flywheel).

Washed the car and engine compartment too.
    20211007_175635.jpg 20211007_172853.jpg

The car was dusty and dirty when it went in... engine compartment looked like you would expect a Subaru from Colorado to look like.

I'm really impressed with that shop.

At least it’s not in Guam.

I had a part go from Ohio to Guam to Honolulu to Tracy. Total cluster.

It was supposed to show up on the Wednesday after I order it and it showed up three weeks later… on a Wednesday to be fair.

FedEx will probably start using that excuse... but they have been sufficiently fucked up, on their own, for a number of years now.

Bolt 2x to the face of the joist and lag or thru bolt the pulleys to those. That’s probably 1x roof sheathing and looks a bit sketchy.

So, I get a text "arriving tomorrow". Followed by "out for delivery" followed by "whoops". Two days later, no text, nothing and the package shows up.

I swear, I'm going to start calling and asking where to send the invoice.

It is roof sheathing. Didn't think to bolt through the the pulley. That would definitely help. Thanks.
