Also I’d be into this but I have to coach soccer on Saturday. Deer Valley is super fun.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

More Chevy fun (man, I'd like to do some work to my truck again sometime)

Oil pan gasket is a pain in the DICK!

Good thing I was already working on the front end, and waiting for parts. The passenger spindle was already off, along with the CV. They would have had to have been removed for this...

Also had to take the intermediate shaft off the diff, remove the starter, remove sway bar, and I probably would have had to take the drag link and idler arm off (if they weren't off already) to get the damn oil pan out.

No biggy, I'll let you know when the next trip is. Dungeoness crab season is coming up so it might be pretty busy come November.

Thanks for the info, brother. Did get the reroute done at Muffler Works and those guys are fantastic! Kelly definitely knew what I was looking for and knocked it out for $100. I highly recommend these guys if you want to get the reroute done. Now I just need to install those skids.

Last minute trip to Spider Lake off the Rubicon Trail was a success! Started after dark and made it to spider in about 2 hours. Gate keeper was way more dug out than it was in May and I had to use the front locker twice during the trip. No spotters this trip either, just my copilot pup giving me dirty looks every time I hit skids.

We did notice that someone took the famous sign at the trail head or at least it's missing. And we loaded a LOT of trash in my truck throughout the trip. People left a mess, damaged tents, shooting targets, cans, food boxes. Pisses me off to see that but at least I had the space to haul it all out.

Amongst our weaponry are such elements as fear, sur- I'll come in again.

He always wonders why I travel from the east bay to goto him, but he really is a great guy. The drive is worth it to not get ripped off which happened quite frequently until I was referred to Kelly.

First game we made the plays, then they did, now we did again but we also had the elements on our side too. What Longo did to that poor ball to get it through that wind was sick.

    Great trip report.

The Rubicon Foundation puts up the sign for the summer and removes it and stores it for the winter.

RTF is worthy of our support. They do a great job for off roading.

Feeler, If anyone local is looking for some UCA I have a set of Light Racing that I need out of garage before I post to CL. I got some Icon tubulars instead. They are earlier model but I upgraded the ball joints to newer version with grease fitting. Can take pics later. Less than 15k on the ball joints and an extra set of boots also available.

And I have a set of ICON Uniballs new in box and used metal dust covers. since i upgraded to Deltajoint.

Anyone need partial set of OEM lug nuts or 6-lug hub cap?

Bought some mevotech ucas from Rockauto. $469 shipped for some spc ucas in mevotech boxes isn't a bad deal. Decided to let the shop do the work since my back still isn't feeling the greatest. Was finally able to get my alignment back since I never fixed it after changing out inner & outer tie rods. Also cut some new fender liners from some thicker rubber that I saved from a job site. Had the preload spacer removed from the bilstein struts and the ride is a lot better. Now time for new tires.

"Scenic bypass" is a massive understatement. I'm definitely planning on making a return visit to Avenue of the Giants to do some camping and hiking. Maybe do some fishing on the Eel River, too.

Give Kelly a call and ask. More than likely, he can get you right. Good luck.
