I dunno about that one. If I had unicorns, rainbows and candy flying out my carpet after they finished, I would probably tip. But only because I would probably need to have them come back to clean up the mess from the party later :)

On a more serious note, if you feel they went above and beyond cleaning then tip what you feel you are comfortable with. I personally don't think a tip (at any percentage) is automagically included for any service.

Anything that is a service, I generally tip, but I am in the Auto Service Industry. Someone does a good job, tips show appreciation, even if it's a 12pk of beer or bottle of wine, or a $20 or something. Bigger the job, better the results, better the tip in my book.

    .
I had a GF who was a cheap tipper, we would order food delivered to my house, killer Italian, Chinese or pizza, when the guys shows up I ALWAYS tip a five-spot, one day she asked me why I always tip a fiver, like i should tip less, I told basically it's always the same drivers who bring the food, they know they're always gonna get a fiver, and my food always arrives correct, hot and sooner than what they told me on the phone. For all you kids out there, I worked in restaurants and other jobs where tipping is part of your income, if my wait person is attentive, the food arrives timely and correct, the tip is 20%, sometimes the staff might be overwhelmed but if they are really trying their best, it's not their fault, i still tip correctly. Tow truck guys, same thing, big tow, tricky drop, long haul, tip the guy they work hard for this shit. Anyone who does work for you and goes that extra mile to make things right deserves a little something extra, a thank you is great, a 20 spot is better.

I was thinking this way as well. Unfortunately I won't be there when they finish, but I may leave a few bucks with my Fiance.

I agree and I always tip 20% unless they bug me for some reason. 2 more dollars from me won't matter, but every dollar helps for them.
