Wow! Fantastic job on FD's job but terrible day for the skiers.. You imagine feeling that you will never make it out alive?

The inner game is an absolute disaster, they better turn this around like NOW

None of the 3 were buried. They brought in the dogs just in case there were others there.

Im skeptical when the snow is wet and heavy. don't think the 6 wheels could move it.

    Dude, what happened?!?!
The vet school is awesome, though, and it looks like you got a killer deal. Back when my mom was in grad school at Davis her dog got strychnine poisoning and she rushed her to the vet school because her normal vet was closed and they were all waiting for her when she got there. They basically brought her back to life and then rehabbed her in an oxygen tent for a while. Such an intense story to hear from her, but yeah, they're good.

In other news, I'm super jealous of all the snow you guys are getting while I'm in socal! Just got back from a 3-day climbing trip in the desert, though, so I can't complain. Nor cal just doesn't have much climbing in the winter when it's rainy and snowy.

Lol yes, if we had time and money we could build that one as well. But I figured I'd just choose the more sensible youtube versions. :p

That'd be the shit. Especially if you stuff a Rumba in it for control. Starts snowing? Toss it (and the charger) outside. 'Teach' it the areas you want plowed and boom! No more snow.

I think its more fun as an RC version. The camera kits are cheap as hell these days. That guy has some serious R&D into that one, but I know I can build one using hobby grade stuff for a few hundred that can do the same exact thing. Honey, what are you doing in the garage? Oh, plowin the streets!

It is an RC version :)

Even with a Rumba in it. The other 'cool' thing the Rumba gives you is a bit of a safety. If you lose comms, it's not gonna go rogue on you.

If you did build, would it have the same torque this one does? I'm guessing that's why it's 600A worth of awesome-at least part of it anyway.

It's a really cool device. I bet the developer does mil grade robotics for a living too.

I'd probably use the same equipment as I have in my helicopters. The brush less motor in my Heli draws 60A at 50V. make that x6 for each axle, load the thing up with a shit ton of batteries it would be roughly 18hp with more torque than any gas motor could offer.

I'm in LA now. Time to frequent the socal thread lol.
