Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

I've been talking with dealers and friends. Sold out everywhere. Most manufacturers are speculating (as of SHOT show) 4-6 months before delivery. If you want something now, gunbroker has lowers and rifles at inflated prices. Some manufacturers of lowers are taking back orders and promising delivery by July.

Best of luck to everyone, and consider joining the NRA to combat any of these bills/bans.

 

I'm trying to get him to build one so he can get exactly what he wants in his AR versus buying a completed one. He's also in another state so it's not like I can go look at rifles with him

 

Plus you have to deal with the stupid bullet button if you are actually sourcing parts in CA or bringing parts in. Why can't he do it himself or get a local shop to help out?

He's not very educated in these kind of rifles. He's more knowledgable about hunting rifles. I'm trying to get a list of parts going with links to the website so he can buy them and start putting stuff together.

I can ask a friend if he knows of any place to source rifle parts, he has acouple himself and also sells ammo.

 

Honestly I don't want him buying one right now. He's going to overpay for whatever he gets and he doesn't need it this minute.

 

Yeaaaaaaaa.... She's the Excalibur of my collection. I still can't believe that I was able to get one. I switched from the griptape grips, and went with the charcoal ones that look like VZ.





On the other hand, I may have to sell one of these (the AK pistol or the Ducati999 BiPosto) to pay for the trip to NAWLINS!!!!

Howdy. I ski all the time. Havent been up in a couple of weeks but will be going back up soon. We need a dump bad. No POW anywhere right now.

 

3rd day in a row I've driven to and from Davis, but today my dog finally gets to come home from the vet! He had to stay a couple nights because his surgery didn't go as planned. He's OK now. That $2000 was gonna go for fun truck & moto stuff but he takes priority so ok then.

Just need to win the lottery. There's some really good Toyota-spotting around here/Woodland/Vacaville but I haven't seen a TW sticker yet.
