NorCal TW Hollister Day Trip: April 22nd 2012

Guess we should setup some meeting spots? for different areas of the bay.

 

Let's get another 30 taco convoy on 880!!

 

Perhaps pick a spot off 101 in Morgan Hill like Peet's on Cochrane Rd, then all roll down 101 and Hwy 25 to Hollister Hills!

I say Morgan Hill cause several freeways (85, 101, 280, 880) come together in south SJ and there's no good spot to meet up there.

 

put me down as a maybe for now, one of my buddies is gonna be there with his crawler also.

 

It's faster for the guys from Concord WC Pitt to head down 680 to pick up 101 in San Hoe than to go west to 880 then go south. Morgan hill looks like a good place to meet, right at the drain at the bottom of the bay area.

 

we should just do the same as last time...whatever the meeting spots are

We will be meeting in the Walmart parking lot at 7:30am and hitting the road at 7:40-7:45 as the petaluma guys pass buy and more trucks will be joining along the way as we travel down 880. feel free to PM me your phone number if you want to jump in at a different location on 880 and I will text you as we approach.

so what should our official meet up time @ hollister be?

 

I have a buddy bringing his truck too so add a +1 to mine. In regards to what time wi should meet... for me the earlyer the better.

 

Does 10 sound good? I'm only 45 minutes away so I'm open to earlier, but I know some of the Walnut Creek guys have a long drive.

 

Either way it's a haul for us Concord/WC crew, if we're meeting in Union City that's about 45 minutes from us, guess it doesn't matter, 10 sounds good to me.
