NORCAL "WTF does your username mean?" Thread

Started by an old guy saying I was "hellbent to be a hotrodder" and always referred to me as that hellbentrodder. I dropped the hell.

 

Let me guess, your a George too?

 

It was what came to mind when I created it.

 

Opal fellow Greeks. No not George, but 11 of my cousins are named George. I got the other popular name Dimitri.

 

When I first signed up to this forum I was Iron Eagle. Named after one of my favorite movies from my childhood. A few weeks in I contacted a mod to change my name.

 

I love that movie as kid.

 

Traveled all over the USA building stores in malls for 18 years. Born in 1960

 

Ghost is a nickname given to me by teammates when I used to play paintball and FJ is for Land Cruisers. Originally had a FJC but wanted the real thing, so I got a FZJ80 now.

 

Dedmouse....been using this user name decades before dedmau5. He's just an interloper upstart.

I grew up on a farm and we had mice and other vermin in our barns. When I was a kid, I would sit in the rafters of the barns and shoot the rodents with my 22 when the farm animals were outside. I got to be pretty good at hitting them on the run with one shot.

My dad would call dead mouse. I changed it up a bit to dedmouse. I've been using it since the days of dial up BBS's (remember those?)

Mine was just an Old username I used on a ton of other forums. Mainly for itrader/buying selling purposes to have some solid feedback from previous sales/side jobs. Anyways this is what is means

Dc- chasis code of my old rsx
Sleeper- turbo/nitrous setup
408- san jose town I grew up in.

 

I surf using longboards. At the time I signed up to this site I had a 10' and an 11'.

 

I used to own a Honda motorcycle. So I just added an "H" on the end.

 

Reckon mine's pretty self explanatory...

 

Mine indicates that my other vehicle is a TDI (old golf turbo diesel).

 

No offence, but isn't that why we responded to the "NORCAL" thread? See post #31

This isn't directed at you, but many people are posting from outside of NorCal.

The intent of the thread was to understand the username origin of people you meet at mod days, runs, TW meets, or on this local forum. Or maybe someone is buying a part from "Stabbiejoe420". They can go to this thread, see that he "likes stabbing people when he's baked", and reconsider. Or maybe give him a $20 sack and a list of enemies... You guys get the point...
