For those of you with scanguage/ultragauges, what's your idle speed at a stop, in gear, at normal operating temps?

My truck has started to idle a little rough. It'll drop down to about 630 at stoplights and that's where it starts to vibrate. If I gently raise the rpm to 690-700, the vibration goes away.

Is there a way to adjust this?

750 after she's warmed up. It may be a little higher if running a/c, headlights, etc..

    I run 740-750.

Is it throwing a CEL? How is acceleration, sluggish? Difficulty starting? Could be a number of things like spark plugs, o2 sensor, maf, fuel pump, dirty air filter, dirty fuel filter, etc...

I'd start cheap with some of that fuel injector cleaner stuff that you dump in the gas tank when you fill up and go from there. I hate throwing parts at it when not necessary.

I had this problem when I swapped my motor in, Id clean the throttle body and MAF and see if that helps. I wanna say my idle hangs around 800 ill have to double check.

Check your throttle cable sometimes it disengages causing it to loose rpms.

There is no idle adjustment, but I would start at the sensor that controls the idle. The IAC on these trucks gets dirty and can hang or get stuck. The good thing is they are fairly easy to clean and only require a $5 gasket and some carb cleaner. This does require removing the throttle body, but this is where I would start.

In addition to all of the above I would check the air tube after the MAF for cracks leaks etc.
