Awaiting information on the Summer Camp and Ride meet in the B'ham area!

 

well i can tell ya now it wont be a camp meet. if it is ill rest peacefully in my bed and ya'll can have fun dodgin bullets.

 

Well obviously not where that is.. Lets go somewhere else..

 

Oak mountain has great camp sites. Also plenty of room for multiple trucks.

 

why not the same place as last time? that was a reasonable trip for us LA folks.

 

Oak Mtn sounds good. and if there is riding going to be invalid, place out in chelsea that leads into harpersville, bunch of riding. we could always grab some bikes and hit the bike trails! i know all of those as well.

No.. It just loved the Big Red Love Truck! NOT REALLY!

As I recall he was creepin in between yours and Paul's truck! Then again he could have been creepin there only to stair at my truck and me!

I would love to do that but would like to choose different trails.. Ones that didn't require me to re-tighten bolts and a little more challenging! I'd like to crawl rather then Mud or dust! I've learned my lesson on mudding!

 

^^^I agree, i'm not a big fan of mud. It's usually where we end up though, so i go for it. Would love some ups and downs, hills and trails without the sloppy mud.


We do have a place over near where i live. It is a bit muddy sometimes, but mostly ruts, some steep hills, and a couple river crossings. Trails go on as far as you want to take them. It's part of the Alabama National Wildlife Reserve. And like i said in a previous post, you can camp out there. Would be an awesome offroad adventure.


Hopefully, by the time of the next meet, I'll have my 35's, new gears, and a ARB air locker. I'll likely have to lose the fender flares though.

 

Hills and trails sounds good. Hopefully something where the branches aren't so close either. I didn't have a chance to see how bad my poor girl is yet. I ran the lane twice.

 

I got some pretty good pin stripes, myself. A couple pretty deep ones. I'll be buffing for a few hours on the first tolerable temp day i get.

 

Same here but I hard mud armor on the second go around...

 

I gave up on pin stripes after last time at ditto, screw it.

 

No kidding, the mud was as tough as bedliner once it froze on there. lol
