The Toyota place thinks its a circuit board problem where water or condensation might have gotten on it and is messing up the voltage. I went wheeling in some water when we had the last big rain before the snow and it was up to my hood on my truck. If it's not that then it is my Actuator (That is what i have gathered from TW).

Turn the truck off leave the ignition on. And try to engage or disengage the 4wd.

Its way up i know.. I was too tired last night after work to post up a long story! So here we go now!

So last night i got in my truck started it and the light was still blinking.. i turned the truck off then turned the ignition on (not starting it) i flipped the switch and nothing happened. All i could hear was some electronic solonoid sounds like clicking noises but no mechanism sounds.

So i got to wondering.. i turn the truck to Acc flipped the switch to 4wd and TA DA!! we have 4wd! IT WORKED! so then i started the truck to make sure it was in 4wd.. it was so then i flipped it to 4w lo IT WORKED!! Took it out of 4w lo. IT WORKED! went to take it out of 4wd all together while running.. NOPE!! So i turned it off left it out of 4wd and turned the ignition back on and BAM it came out!

Strated it to double check! Yep! then all of a sudden BOTH the 4wd and 4w Lo lights were flashing at the same time! but it was in 2wd! So i tried the previous trick again NOPE! Didn't work nothing did! So i decided to go down the road and dealwith it tomorrow well then i heard that same clicking sound of a solonoid working again and it never engaged again but the 4w Lo light went off and the 4wd light kept blinking.

So now we're back to the first problem! So now what? $350 on a new one? Go to a Junkyard and get one? or Pull this one off and see what is wrong with it?

I say you might as well pull it just to see what it looks like first. You could have some moisture stuck in there or something. That it worked the one time says that it is at least checking a little more in to it.

Try the experiment again tonight when you get off. Interesting info to know to try it with the truck off if you are out in the middle of BFE.

I might make an actual post about it if i get it resolved!

BTW! You need to go ahead and start PMing your address to people and also would you rather us all show up at once or first come first serve as we trickle in.. I mentioned to everyone that we are starting up at 8.. so i'll close the poll tonight and get this thing settled in!
