Didn't really dig the location, but my current position has worn me very thin over the past year. And the one I'm taking comes with a nice pay increase and essentially the same benefits. I hate to move east, but this is the right thing for right now.

I have a couple options. Most likely candidate right now is an apartment complex. Depending on how I feel about the job after a year, I may elect to look at more permanent digs.

And there's a reason you've never heard of it. It's tiny. About 8,000 people. The actual job is in Henderson, but I checked things out last Sunday, and you do *not* want to live in Henderson.

    Not far...about 15 miles...

I have several connections in Durham, but that makes it about a 40 minute commute and even with the Matrix that would eat up a lot of the pay bump in gas.

You go to work 5 days a week. You go play 1 or 2 days a week. Live closer to work, it leaves more money for play.

Yeah...also, a couple FYIs for you Lurry:

    - Crawfish boil at the Raleigh Farmer's Market is June 4th. Get there early (like, an hour early) and bring cash. They will sell out fast. I would meet you there and make sure we got hooked up, but I'll be on a plane heading for Yosemite.

    - I'm gonna be down beach-way in mid August...8/20ish to 8/29ish or some portion of that. Gonna be hanging with the fam some, make one trip down to Wilmington to see a friend, and was thinking maybe we need to squeeze an OBX run/fishing/camping trip in there somewhere too :spy:
