    I've hit the spot pretty hard and only a little bit flakes away and i've cleaned the shit out of it and usually do about once a month. it just kinda pisses me off to know that they would cover this up.:annoyed:

    get a good rust preventer on apply it on there . i use a product called the right stuff and that shit will eat some rust up and prevent it from coming back

    quick question tho. did you scrub the spot first with a wire brush before you applied the "right stuff"?

    are you just hitting it with a brush. Try getting a wire wheel for a drill and hit it with that. Thats what I use to clean and repair my undercarrage from trail damage / rust.

    The road up to it is gravel, and there are a couple of places on that road that we could possibly do some light wheeling. It's off the Harmen Den exit (exit 7 on I-40). Might be fun. Just a meet up or something.
