    So: was taking inventory of lift parts tonight, and noticed the IVD coilovers (which were hardly padded at all in the shipping box) had some of the coating scraped off the coilspring, apparently from handling during shipping. Edit: Upon further inspection, it looks like the reservoirs were shifting during shipping and the hardware that connects the hoses at either end scraped the coil.

    Worth getting pissy about, or sand and seal that shit with some plasti-dip and go on with life?

    Ooh, also, one of my rear shocks was apparently packaged and shipped without the reservoir mounting bracket! Good times!

    I'm sure Icon's hardware performs every bit as well as their reputation suggests, but this damage from piss-poor packaging and the fact that they charge for the adjustment wrench are both inexcusable.

    Was reading through their paperwork on warranty and they specifically state, and I quote:

    They know their packaging is not adequate.

    Luckily, this is an easy fix, it's just some finish, and plasti-dip or even a few coats of rattle can will seal it right back up.

    The shorted mounting bracket though...seriously fellas?
