I'll be in Greenville tomorrow and Wed. to see my sis. Are there any good trails around there?

Gulches is only about an hour from Greenville - but only open on Fri-Sun (weather permitting).

I keep hearing conflicting stories about Gulches. First I hear that they have some easy trails that a stock rig can easily handle....then I hear that it's BS & you're guaranteed to get some type of damage on all the trails. Anyone have some input?

If that's your truck in your sig, you would have no problem with most trails at Gulches. I would just suggest sliders instead of step bars, but otherwise you can have lots of fun there with little risk of damage.

This. The obstacles at Gulches can all be bypassed with the exception of a few "skull and crossbones" trails (i.e., stay the fuck out of Papa Gulch, Baby Gulch, Shipwreck...) Everything else you can see what you're getting into well before you get into it.

Personally I had a blast down there.

I had sheet metal crunching good time at Gulches. It's a pretty sweet place.

 I don't care about denting up the hoerunner, but you can keep your sheet metal straight. The great thing about Gulches is they have guides that will take you out and show you around if it is your first time, and they will keep you out of trouble but make sure you have fun.

Just give it more gas! Good job! Oh, you crushed your driveshaft! You brought tools and a replacement? Good job!

Being serious, the guide was pretty cool, but it was nice later that day and at night when the spotting went away and he just let us freakin' drive.
