I was wondering if anyone is from NC on here and if you had the lce header with the 2.7l dual cat. it states that i will need to remove the front CAT to install them. Just curious what others have done about this problem.

NC doesn't actually check emissions. They just use a scanner to check for any codes your truck is throwing relating to emissions. As long as you don't have a CEL, you won't have a problem.

FWIW, I only have one cat on my '96 2.7, and it passes with no problems.
