it would be easier but i saw the video the guy did where you leave the top mount in and lower the lower control arm with a floor jack and then just slide the old out the bottom and slide the new stuff in and jack it back up. i may try this and could do both sides in a couple of hours and then tackle the back.

If i dont install this soon im going to sell it and pick up an Ironman lift from toytec and go that route, its a direct swap without all this disassembly and reassembly mess.

have to work this weekend, off the next one but my daughter has double header soccer games on that Saturday and then wont have another weekend off till the 12th or the 19th of Oct. I do get off days during the week so i may just start the night before after work rip it apart get up at 5am and try to have the front done early then tackle the back.

i have an air compressor so i may just go buy an impact wrench and socket set

That's how I did our 04 DC, really simple! I opted not to replace the top hats on my 01 and idk whether I should have or not, haven't noticed an ill effects & if your doing it yourself I say just leave the stock top plates and do it how you mentioned

i guess i'll drop the strut & spring out then remove the strut mount from the truck bucket since the pressure wont be on it, it will be safer to remove, install the spacer between the two, reinstall the strut mount, then slide in the bilstein and OME spring.bolt down the bottom of the strut and raise the jack to compress the sping and lift the strut into place, bolt it all back up, drink a couple of beers then start on the back right. Sounds way to easy. i have next Tuesday off so i may do this my dang self. Tired of waiting on family to show up.
