It'd be a lot cheaper for you to get one from homertaco, type in satoshi mod he usually sells some for like $150 I believe. I had it powder coated

Yeah that would be ideal but I have manual mirrors so my mirror adjustment arms are there. Probably going to cut a hole in the padded part of the door just under the window and flush mounting them there. I don't have a hole saw that size so I'll have to get creative with the cut

I swapped out my brake lights with LEDs.. there's literally no difference in the brightness?

How do i go about doing that? What grit sandpaper? I'm going to do it. I still want them tinted, but only going to do 1 coat this time.

Have 3-5 on it now, didn't know it would be that dark.

just get 1200 grit and wet sand it, then reclear it.

 

3 coats is normally a good rule of thumb if you ever do anything else jut a heads up. It's been said but if they were mine is sand and reclear

 

Got some gas and it came right off, taping off the brake light, reverse lights and turn signals. Will post pics when finished.

 

How do they look? Debating on whether to do the turn signals.

 

I'm liking it. Give it a shot, It gives the feel of blacked out lights but you aren't hindering your light output!

 

Yeah, I like it too. I think i'm going to leave it how they are unless i find out the turn signals are too dark.

 

Steven im likein the tail lights dude. u cleared out the brake and reverse light perfectly. how long did it take u to get them that perfect? and i would leave the reverse light tinted unless its to dark.
