So I am thinking about getting some Rigid SR-Q lights. Not sure where I would mount them

I think it would look cool to have them flush in the bumper

    Or mount them on something

Anyone near cherry point? Just got stationed here for school! Was hoping to meet some NC Tacomas! Unfortunately I don't have either one of mine with me cause I'm not allowed to have one.

What makes you say that? Light output specs are the same as the Dually flush mounts. The Dually HDs do put out more though.

I was looking for some extra light when driving and the flush mount looks really appealing. Just not entirely sure where I would put them.

Anyone running the BFG rugged terrains or know much about them? Most of what I'm hearing is good reviews.

Mainly because it's 4 instead of 6 and it's a much smaller light the regular duallys aren't crazy bright like you'd expect that's why I got the D2 driving beams but I haven't seen actual output shots so I could be completely wrong

I guarantee they put out a lot of light though. I just don't know where to mount them if I get whatever it may be. It would be cool to flush mount some D2s in my lower valence.

I come down that way quite often. How long will you be at cherry point? And what school are you there for if you don't mind my asking? My father-in-law was stationed there as a Corpsman attached to Pedro for about 7 years before he retired. Hopefully - pending rolling boards - I'll be headed to Navy OCS in February.

From seeing them on trucks, they remind me of the nitto dune grappler in the ugliness and useless tread pattern department. Specs show it's as heavy as their AT KO and about as expensive. I would recommend the AT KO over that one. IMHO the AT KO a better tire. I'm not trying to bash it too much, but I really don't see how that tread could be very useful for much other than asphalt - and it doesn't even look asphalt friendly either. The voids are too small to grab anything offroad, and the tread pattern looks like it will want to resist rolling/push you to the side on the highway. I think there's better options out there for the same money or less. I'm a BFG fan, but this tire and the Rugged Trails (from reviews and word of mouth) don't seem like they're up to par with the BFG name.

    Well hopefully they come around.
Never camped for thanksgiving. Would be cool to figure out the best way to burn a bird.
Does the URE park "close" for the holiday though...
