You might be able to get away with 295's without trimming, I don't think you'd have to trim till you go to 305's but I may be wrong.

    295's are expensive though

I run 285/75 BFG A/Ts and had to trim the fender flares at the bottom. The only time it rubs the cab mount is if i'm reversing at like full lock and even then it's only for a second and stops. My next set of tires will be bigger since i'll have 4" of lift and the 285s look small.

2004 F-350...uh lots of motor work to go fast...er. Way to much to list. 2001: 3" leveling kit, ARB bumper, lightforce 240 blitz, 35" KM2s. SOLD 2008: OME 886s 90000 with dakars, LR UCAs, 5% tint, Satashi. SOLD 2015: Flooded and Gone
Ya the BFG a/ts I think run smaller, like a 32 for a 285/75/16, had those on my 01 as well and didn't like them for the rainy days or on the boat ramps. I don't believe I've seen many 295s out there, and ya they are a little pricey for me.

190.00 for general grabbers which is steep to me,I've seen a few sets on craigslist but mostly for 17" rims

    What size and tire?

I've heard great reviews with those and some better than BFGs.

I just want that aggressive look but also functionality all around. So far I've had best luck with the coopers. Tempted to try the nitto mud grapplers but my wife doesn't like them:/ as for prices I have found on them, pretty close to the same as cooper stt. Thoughts?

I don't like tire roar and I don't have mud tires so I have no idea. I don't really want mudders now, I like my bfg long trails

In other news, I am almost ready to do my 4wd conversion, I just need to do some work on my spindles, new ball joints, and new CV axles. Tomorrow I should be able to pick up my regeared front diff and transfer case.

I am going to do all of the work myself, any tips for installing a transmission?

There was a link awhile back in the wheels and tires section, you could get bfg mud terrains retreaded for 90 dollars. The company did free shipping too if you ordered 4

We have a place with a lift we can use, so hopefully that will help!

I am up to about $1500 on my conversion, but i also have a lot of part still to resale.

    Good to know

Okay question, did you run into any little thing or part that you overlooked when you did your conversion?

Does your transfercase shifter hook right into the transfercase or does it go in the square on the back of the transmission?
