    Just got back from a week long trip to Nicaragua... Toyota definitely has a foot-hold on the market down there. Everyone drives a Hilux or a Land Cruiser. Saw some pretty bad ass FJ40s down there also.

    One interesting thing I noticed is that the stock Hilux's down there are about 2 inches higher than a TRF sport Tacoma. I only saw one actual Tacoma down there, and funny enough it was side by side with a Hilux which is how I noticed the difference. Didn't have my camera on me at that point though.

    Got me amped up to do some mods :)

    Yeah I saw a hilux in the Bahams I thought it was a frontier at first. Really wish we could get one here. Maybe with the release of the new VW truck and a diesel option maybe toyota will jump on board, or at least release a diesel tacoma.

    I agree about the diesel option... would be nice. There are rumors that Jeep will be unveiling a diesel wranger (2dr and 4dr) in 2016, maybe we could expect a similar timeline

    if Toyota would even make a diesel Tundra with a towing package and price it reasonable it would outsell the others. if They put it in a Tacoma with a long bed it would be a game changer.
