It was the piss poor alignment for the most part. Shady bastard is going to give me my money back or get an ear full. He may get both. I took the measurements from before and after i got 3.25 inches up front and 2.0 rear from the changes. Some will settle and the bumper change will help. When we firsr sat the front end down i was 1/2 an inch lower than swanks and he has a 4 inch spindle lift ;)

That's because you have 700 lb. 14" coils, right? How much preload did you set? 100+ lb. bumper will settle it, and your CV's will thank you.

Get atleast 3* caster, with 0 toe and camber. This will give you the most cab mount clearance and drive nice.

Safety is more important than half assing it. I know its not likely since I'm not an idiot, but if it can prevent an axle from falling on me then I am all for it.

And go ahead and call me a pussy for it, but I always wear saftey glasses too.
    ;)

Not sure what the block of wood is for. If all you're installing is axle shims, support the frame and do one side at a time, supporting that side of the axle with the jack. Or you can get more stands, it's up to you. I don't blame you for wanting to be safe ;)

I only have one pair of 5 ton stands that are going to be under the frame. I wanted to get some 2 ton ones to place under the axle

Yea that's what I figured. I'm saying, you can unbolt one side of the axle at a time, and lower it with a jack to get the shim in. Is the shim slotted for the center pin, or drilled?
