    Haywood county has the cheapest rent and property prices around the area.

    Buncombe is just freaking expensive

    I didn't. I looked at two in Candler. I'm gonna look around more tomorrow. I really want a place with a basement for a workshop and the only two places I've found so gar with that were in Candler (what county is that)? I found another in Hendersonville I wanna look at tomorrow, but its over $1000/month. I'd really like to stay under that. My current house is $1250 and that blows when you're single.

    If I'm correct, the only true towns in Haywood are Waynesville, Canton, and Clyde.

    Yea those towns are the biggest in haywood.

    I will also say to look around Weaverville. I had a 1 bed 2 bath home in Alexander (basically Weaverville) that was 1600 sq ft for 650/mo rent. So up that way it's a little cheaper as well.

    Burnsville is a little further out than Weaverville from asheville.

    I mean if you don't mind the drive then yea it's an option.

    That's true. I got a buddy in Burnsville. It's pretty but then again, any part of the mtns is better than Charlotte.

    Yea north of asheville and west of asheville have the biggest mountains. South of Asheville has the best climbing and waterfalls. East has the best hiking lol

    Interview is done. Won't know anything for a week or so. Not gonna bother looking at more houses. The center manager didn't really give me a warm fuzzy feeling. I'm not sure we'd get along.
