Decided to add my own switch to my light bar. Drilled out the whole and put it in place. I also put 100W lights in today.

The other night leaving the gym my sister wanted to drive my truck.. and I let her.

    That's where I fucked up.

Just got brand new wheels/tires put on the truck about 1-2 weeks ago.

She takes a corner and runs off the side of the road and hits a pothole.
Immediately after hitting the pothole the whole truck started shaking horribly for about 5 seconds and then quit.

Since then every time I take off, there's a chirping noise coming from the passenger rear tire (one she hit the pothole with), it's very annoying and I do not know what it is.

Anyone have this happen before or heard of it? I'd hate to think she bent the damn rim just by hitting a pothole.

    Please help

Take them to a tire shop and have them put on the tire balancer and checked. If one is bent they'll know

That's what I was probably going to do, but was trying to see if it sounded like anything else besides a bent rim.

    Fixed! :D
Turns out it was the center cap on the same wheel had come loose and was making the noise. Soo relieved that it wasn't a bent wheel :woot:

I drove down you guy's way this week. On Wednesday, I drove to Mt. Mitchell and took 80N. What a road! It was a little fatiguing in the truck because of how much you have to slow down around those bends. By the time you accelerate up to speed again, you hit another near-hairpin turn. I can't imagine what the views would be like if it wasn't all fog and rain.

You should see my drive to work every morning. One of the most beautiful views in the area in my opinion.

It's the saddle that overlooks sandy mush valley

It's the top of willow creek road in Leicester if you look it up. The mile of road past where I took this picture is gnarly steep and requires 1st gear for me to not have smoking brakes by the end
