    If anyone is looking for someone to do gear installs outside of the great Chase at ECGS in Raleigh (has done great work for me before) call Scott over at MetalWerx in Hickory NC. Had him do front and rear gears for me recently. They mainly work on big ass tube buggies and hardcore off roaders and Scott is active in the off road jeep community. A good dude, can fab up nearly anything and also knows differentials. Don't expect one day turnaround though unless just a rear is getting done. I was lucky enough to have access to a 2nd vehicle and dropped the truck off with him for a week. Need to call him up and get in line depending on work flow. The shop is land locked out of the way on an off beaten dead end road. Scott did well by me. Metalwerx Offroad Design

    SOS question... getting my 50in light bar hooked up, it ran for like 1 minute or so and then burnt out the fuse... the fuse was only a 15, should i just put a bigger fuse in it or have I done something wrong????

    I would examine the wiring, especially where you enter the cab. Weak fuses are rare now, sounds like you had a short. A bigger fuse will just burn up the wire or relay. How much current is your light rated for?

    SOS Hmmm. @Eddyrtt

    Might only have a wattage rating, which can be converted to amps (redundancy check: fuses are rated in amps).
    amps = watts / volts

    Anyone know of any good welders around Charlotte? Someone that would do custom work, welding alignment tabs, Total Chaos gussets, etc... that takes pride in their work and you would trust with your truck? Also looking for someone that understands alignment with custom suspensions. I'm going to be installing an Icon Stage 4 soon, but want to have the alignment double checked.

    MARS FAB near Charlotte does awesome work, he was or is building a LT 2nd gen.

    For alignments, there is a shop near Mooresville I have been recommended to, but I can't remember the name of it :facepalm: if I find out I'll let you know

    I did mine at Precision Auto in Mooresville, they have a special for 39.95 and got it right the first time - drives great ever since

    Thanks. Any places closer to Charlotte for the alignment? Don't want to drive too far if my alignment isn't spot on after my upgrade.
