I greased them before the trip to the mountains. I'm just surprised I made it back with it in this condition.

I'm kinda disappointed with some of the features, the non serviceable joints is one of them. Is that standard on the OEM shafts ? All my previous Toy Trucks had greasable joints OEM.

I see yours had a fitting, is that an original joint ?

I only commented about greasing as it appears dry in your vid.

I asked the previous owner (he was a member on here) and he hadn't changed them so I can assume they're factory. There's a nice ring of grease on the underside of the truck so it looks like it blew out while I was driving.

My current Runner and former Runners and trucks all had that ring, on the exhaust too ( mmmm fragrant ! ) so that's a pretty standard thing .

I'm still going over my junk to see what needs and wants are. 255k miles makes a list of both....

I cranked my billies to 2.5 and hated the ride . Like a pogo stick . I switched to 885x and a 10 mm spacer and ride was much better.. but yielded too much lift so two weeks later took it out to have a rake back than level.. long story short I have 885x and top plate spacer including longer top plate bolts for sale uploadfromtaptalk1439935687219.jpguploadfromtaptalk1439935712005.jpg

Amazingly 4.5inches but I'm 2wd .. and found out I'm lighter than 4wd..which is why so much lift.. my measurements were.. 25" from hub to fender on all four corners.. I didn't measure before but using stock measurements I used were 20.5 front hub to fender

I didn't leave it on but two weeks.. so couldn't say.. I have an avid light bar on too . But 885x don't budge much.. I'm sure it would have settled a little.. right now i have just 885x on.. let me measure real fast

That would put me at 8.5" of front lift, the bumper would only drop it 1/2" or so so i'd be riding a little bit too high in the front with these I think.

Looks good! I'll let you know about the 887s. Don't really want to run that much in the front. Wanted to keep it around 6-7"

Hmm I love how it looks, I have a set of 885x's on billies sitting in the garage, I'm trying to figure out what to do for the rear now (well after I fix the u joint issue)

The 887s are supposed to replace the 10mm spacer 887 are 10 mm higher than 885s.. so you might yield the same as I did
