Dang! If you were in asheville I'd totally be down!

I've done a couple trucks now. Its totally easy stuff man. The uca bolt requires bending some sheet metal to clear it. All the rest is just taking your time and not creating more work for yourself

No way!! I was wondering where it ended up. You happen to get a picture of it? I left the fuels and mud grapps on there and the front plate bumper.

I kept a lot of shit on it to sell

..scooped hood, rear plate bumper, roof rack, headlights, grill, toolbox Hahah

Thank you guys so much for offering to help with the lift. You guys rock.

Went up to Linville for some camping last night and this happened... Fun stuff. Guess it's a good excuse to get rid of the dunflops!

I think he put different tires. I only see it when I pass him going oposite directions. But I mainly recognize it by the lights and bumper. I'll be sure to get one when I see it again. I've seen it a couple times at a shop across from my street. Think he work there

Just got back in town from a long weekend. First long trip in the new Tacoma and it was by far the best.

Hey guys, my icon stage 3 shipped (woo!) and I am just making sure I have all the components needed and don't find out last minute that I need to order something.

Regarding the OME Dakar rear leaf springs, I believe the springs come with OME ubolts and that I can re-use the factory bushings. But do you guys know whether I need the driveshaft spacer kit? I was reading the install instructions below and it has a step for installing that kit... but I haven't seen that referenced anywhere else.

    Thanks guys!

I don't imagine the bushings coming out without damage to reuse. Get new ones, Toyota part # 90389-A0003. You should need 4 of those if the leafs already have the bushings on one end.

If the weather cooperates, I will be helping my buddy install his lift this Saturday. 5100's with 887's and rear AAL. You are welcome to come by if you want to see the process. I swapped my leafs out by myself in 1.5 hours, it's really not hard with decent tools.

Awesome thanks man. The fiancé has plans for us on Saturday so unfortunately I can't swing by, but I found some good videos on youtube that I plan to have beside me. I plan on trying to start installing the springs Tuesday night and finishing up with the coilovers Wednesday night though.

Also... ordered my tires today (woo!)... Went with Cooper Discoverer ST Max's, 255 85 16's. Tall and Skinny. Hoping to run my stock steelie's. I really like BaseCamp's build (see link below). He runs the same tire/wheel setup on a full OME suspension.
