Still thought Fayettenam was pretty synonymous throughout the state.

I grew up knowing Fayetteville as fayetnam and Fayetteville Arkansas as Fayetchill. Thought that was just a thing everyone knew of.

Not in the circles I run with. :) I was just camping with some from Fayetteville, and they never said it once.

I know I was questioning the guy I quoted not ever hearing it called that. I grew up hearing and calling it that.

Yea it's more the military crowd that have dubbed it that. I know Jim is military, so maybe it's the younger crowd. I lived there for a while.

Just figuring out the TW site, if y’all are around the Morehead City area and need something holler at me. I’ll be in a brown extended cab taco or a white 5th gen T4R.

Hope you guys don’t mind me barging I’m on your thread.

My wife and I grew up in Virginia Beach, but want to retire down along the coast in North Carolina, have land and close if not on the water. We are looking for land around Eadonton, but not set on that area. Anyone have any suggestions for nice areas we could buy the land, or realors?

We will probably wait a few years before building, so we don’t want anything to do with an HOA area or some type of covenants that dictate buildings.

If no HOA is a deal your search may be hard. You may need to come away from the actual sound a good # of miles to find that, but you won't be without water of some sort as there will be a lot of creeks and stuff around. Sorry I don't know of a realtor in that area.
