Sup.....can't do the 4th but the other dates work. And yeah, I think I'll have some stuff to work on or clean.

Niiiice. Did your bumper ever hit anything down in that hole or were you fully sitting on your tires?

Bumper never hit anything I don't think. Looks fine. But the bottom of my radiator is caked with mud. Still sorting that out.

Anyone ever change a starter motor before?

No, but those PDFs in your thread make it look simple enough. One thing I would note, when you pull the steering shaft apart I think I saw somewhere you should mark it before hand so you can match the splines back up correctly later.

Just noticed this thread. I could make the 18th, 11th is a maybe and the 4th I'll be out of town. It's a haul from west FW over to your place but I'd love to see the trucks and maybe even get a little wrenching in. I need to get 5100's and eibachs in the front of my new 2012...assuming the eibachs show up sometime soon.

Is there a decent place to get an alignment on a Saturday around there?

While I've never been here, there is a place that does alignments just one mile up the road. I wonder if they have a spring compressor too.

Good to know man. That's the kind of info I need before I get under there and blow shit up.

I'm hoping I can just undo a few harnesses, clean them, and go along my merry way. That would be nice. If I have to remove the darn thing I'm going to mod it so it never happens again. It looks like a fairly sealed system. If it's not, it will be made that way.

We can get a spring compressor from any autozone or o'reillys for a $50 deposit.
