I know a lot of people do. I wonder how difficult either type are to use with the bed extender? I feel like I'm going to need one to haul my trash to the dump.

This is a slightly less than average load in my LB. $7 to take it to the dump myself vs over $30 a month to have to schlep my cans down the 1k foot driveway. I go every 6 - 7 weeks. Maybe I can just go every 4 to make the loads smaller loads.

I'm going to check out the horse mat to see how non-skid it is before buying the OEM mat. It's a half an inch thick and that could come in handy if I ever needed to sleep back there.

 

I'm also going to look at bed extenders.

LOLOLOLOL, you are correct. Ultimately I plan on putting a off road capable trailer together.

I have my eyes on a boat and trailer near me.

I think with some minor modifications to the frame shortening the tongue, new tires and bearings and most likely the wiring, this would be a great project.

The boat was gutted inside.

Why wouldn't this fit the 2012-2015 tacomas?

 

The bumpers are different. You can make it fit the later 2nd gens but it requires more surgery than the 05-11s. Someone made a thread on how to make it work, he said he liked it better since it doesn’t stick out as far as the ones designed for 12-15s.
