Trying to find a decent table saw

 

I have been looking as well and it has been pretty tough in my search honestly. It looks like they just don't sell many of the "heavy duty" ones in big box stores.....just contractor fold up ones.

 

I guess I'm glad I still have my, old to me, dewalt one

 

I’d be okay with a fold up but on CL they’re either trash or you might as well buy a new one

 

There’s a guy on YouTube who does tool reviews with a bear head (yup, really) that has several good videos on used table saws.

Upshot is buy new unless you find a really sweet deal used. In my experience used saws are overpriced and if anything is missing it’s a deal killer. Modern fences and other safety features make an older saw not worth having in most cases. And whatever you do, don’t give more than $20 for a Delta with a tilting table and that’s just so you can get the motor for something else.
