Correct. But I would have to spend 200 or so on rails and then however much a prinsu is so it turns into a 1200 dollar cap quick

I would offer $400 and see what he says. I think its going to be hard to find EXACTLY what your looking for at a decent price and same color

This is true, which is why I don't have one yet. I don't need the same color. I'd be fine with black or grey. I just need one that at least has rails. I don't have space to take it off and put my bed rails on for the tent

I added these to mine. Cut them down to fit exactly how I wanted. Longest part was measuring to make sure they were precise.

You can just add them but make sure you get the tracks with capnuts, NOT plusnuts.

I've had no issues with the weight on top without a reinforced shell. 99.9% @Marty65's shell isn't reinforced either.

Ordered the 60" with capnuts. Some shells seem to curve in on the top rear more or less than others so I played it safe and decided to "cut to fit".

    Correct on my #shortbedproblems.

I'm still tossing around the idea of buying a new shell instead of painting this one to match...you've still got first dibs on it if you don't find one before I make up my mind.

Plusnuts only need one layer to be drilled through (think sheetmetal roof) and compress like rivets when tightened down. Capnuts need to be drilled all the way through and held to be tightened. Can't use plusnuts on fiberglass shell...

I hope you guys looking for shells with tracks already on them don't pass up a good deal for lack of tracks...they're too easy to install. Measurements to make sure everything was centered and even took the longest...a dab of sealer in the hole before tightening everything down will keep it watertight.

If any of you do go this route...I'm happy to help however I can.
