I snagged that softopper last night. Got him down to $350 and the thing looked brand new so figured made out pretty good.

 

I'm glad one of us thinks so! haha jk but yes that's mine please buy it. I'm seriously sick of stubbing my toe on it in my basement. That thing has caused me at least 4 stumbles of death already.

 

@jztacoma just noticed you're in upstate NY. I know There's a lot to upstate NY, but I'm heading to Lake George for July 1st thru July 4th. I've never been there. What's fun to do around there?

I'm about an hour and change south of Lake George actually (near Albany NY). Partying on the Lake is always fun, there's an amusement park in Lake George as well if you have kids or you like roller coasters and water parks. Saratoga Horse Racing and Casino is up in that area as well. But theres boating and kayaking on the lake, some hiking trails. Offroading is a little on the slim side. Theres a few trails nothing to crazy. You can head a little farther north and cross into Burlington VT for some brewery tours to.

 

when i was up in Saranac Lake/Lake Placid (I know this is much further north), I really wanted to go to Burlington VT. I should have, because I dont know when Ill be that far north again. Id say skip the water park, and go to Burlington.

 

Camped in Burlington twice. It was a lot of fun. Definitely some good food up there too.

 

I went to school in Vermont and took for granted how awesome the Burlington Area was cause we were so close to it. Now I miss going there. Theres like a dozen breweries in the area and Church Street in Burlington is always fun

 

you guys are making me want to go back! I have family in NYC, and use that as a home base. Im a 5 hour drive from NYC, and Burlington is 5 hours more? still could be done in a weekend or maybe a couple days more

 

I do road trips from NY to Michigan all the time haha 10 hours one way. With enough caffeine and a big enough road trip playlist it isn't to bad. But best to leave early and do a 4 day weekend

 

this summer/year I will be "training".

Next summer, I plan to drive to Colorado. 2 days of driving 12 hours each day

 

This summer I'm doing a shit ton of OT so I can do Utah next year with the wife haha
