    So I am wondering if these 2017 shocks are comparable with my 2010. I've got base shocks right now with 117k miles on them, and at this point I think anything would be an improvement.

    Has anyone heard of anyone putting 3rd gen shocks on a 2nd gen?

    Yep, but I'd recommend seeing if there are shocks/coils off of an Off-Road (the blue and yellow ones). They ride a bit softer than the ones you posted, since they're off a Sport.

    Ok, good to know. I am mostly interested in the rear shocks. I want to get billstein 5100's up front so I can finally get rid of my spacer lift (previous owners decision, not mine:cool:).
