It pins to the tow vehicle in 2 places so it doesn't articulate.

It's for those that can't back up a trailer. Just watch that trailer swing though!

Wow it really is for people who don't know what they're doing.
I always tell the guys at work if you don't know how to back the trailer up, you'll learn quick when it's 530 and everyone else has gone home.

I suck at backing up trailers. I even used to jockey 55' trailers on the lot of the dairy where I worked; somehow all of that accumulated knowledge and skill has fallen right out of my head.

So these are from that soopreme guy in here that I spoke to a few weeks ago about those dakars. Here's my dilemma, those are the old pack and not the el095r's. I really wanted the newer style, since I've heard they squeak less and have a better ride. So my question to anyone who has an opionon is this: is it worth it to save ~$200 and go with used springs, or just go for the new pack?

There was a point in time earlier this year where the old pack got isolators and pads put in them. I have that version and they’ve been uber silent. It’s hard to tell whether these ones for sale have them or not. I’d ask the seller for sure and base your decision from there.

Thanks for the advice. How do you like yours ride quality wise? I see you have a cap, do you have any additional weight? The other side of this is I would also need someone to pick them up for me and workout some kind of TW express.

The ride quality is great IMHO. I have the cap and about 200 pounds of tools out back. It’s noticeably not stock but not a harsh ride either.

    New-ish. $16K should get you a good condition 2010 non-TRD package.

I like the two different gear ratios he’s running. 4.10 up front and 5.38 in the rear
