I bet they're a good set, I mean, take a look at how intricate is. Not saying that is a sign of good welds, but the welder is probably more experienced than me and I'm building a bumper.

The veterans in the Anything Welding thread told me to watch my welds as I use the bumper and look for stress cracks. Take a look at the welds on those bumpers.

    More like this: (pretty nice)

    Or this (not so good!)

    This is where i’m at:

So here is a current list of my criteria for a used 4th Generation 4Runner:

    Wishes/Needs:
    • 06-09
    • Less than 200k miles
    • Preferably less than $10k
    • Burgundy/light blue/dark blue/silver/grey/white
    • V6
    • 4x4
    • Towing package
    • Sport trim is preferred but limited and SR5 are acceptable
    Things i want to avoid:
    • Accidents
    • Would prefer to have little to no rust but thats going to be impossible
    • No black, won’t buy a black vehicle
    • Don’t particularly want the 4.7 but i would put up with it
    • Has to have painted flares and bumpers
    • Would prefer to avoid having a sunroof
    • Would prefer the vehicle not be lifted or modified

Looking to travel no further than 200 miles to acomplish this purchase.

Isn’t Jersey terrible on vehicles though?

    I also want 06+ because they had a 5spd instead of a 4spd auto

Awesome, I appreciate the feedback. Should take a ride out next weekend to look at them in person and hopefully drive home with them.
