Yeah time is the key thing I don't have either lol

 

Working 70 hours a week doesn't leave much to do anything. The house and truck have both been neglected for months. I have quite a few little mods for the truck just sitting in boxes.

 

I don't know how old you guys are, and how it works with you. But for me the older I get, the less time here is during the day Almost as if the day isn't 24 hrs anymore

 

7 hour days? but you need to be awake more for cody!

 

I'm 26, but between work, my side design gig, and having every weekend booked from November to Mid February it's hard to plan for other things lol

 

Im the opposite. But different lives here. I also didnt know you were so young!

I was staring at the wall last night, and then I looked at the time, and it was only 7pm.. I was counting down the hours until I could sleep

Yeah, i'm fairly young, and pretty much the youngest wherever I'm working. I think it helps that i've been an old man since right after college lol

I am 34, but have had some big changes in the last few years. I really didn't have a plan for life until about 6 years ago, so i blew everything i made and partied all the time. Once we decided to have kids it all changed. We ended up with a lot in doctor bills, and well kids aren't cheap themselves. So i have been working my ass off for the last 6 years, especially the last 3 since they were born. I have a decent job though, and i'd like to think am pretty responsible about saving now. I went to a cash only system about 6 years ago which changes my spending habits a bit. If i don't have the cash, i don't get it. Sucks when a good deal pops up, but such is life. I think having to wait until i have the money makes me evaluate need vs. want a little more.

 

Haha well the first house was my parents, which will eventually be mine.
The second house we are renting from my GF's parents, but i'm fixing it up as we live there because we might buy it as a rental property one day.

I'd be happy to speak to him lol.

IDK why i'm like this, but i'm never satisfied. I always want to learn more, have more responsibilities at work, start making things on the side, and just grow my income and my mind. I recently got into stocks (i'm up 15% since I started) and I maxed out my ROTH IRA last year.

I think it's mostly crazy job with crazy hours, and stupid commute. When The Twins are taking my time, it's a quality time well spent, there is just not quite enough of that.

And Yea, were probably the same age, 28 right?! I mean I don't feel like I'm older than 28
