Anyone come across an aluminium rear bumper for a 2nd gen? Truck was approved for a frame replacement and I want to treat it to some new stuff. I know there's not much out there but...

I am committed to making the AOAA trip OCT. 4th. In order to do so, I have a lot of prepping to get the truck anywhere near ready to wheel. My biggest issue is currently I have no full size spare. These are my options as of now, buying 4 new is not.

Option 1) buy a used or really cheap 255/85/16 spare. Preferred!!!
Option 2) Buy used 285/75/16 off @Redmann and find a spare in that size (which I have done already)

These are really the only two viable options with my build plan everything else is counter intuitive. I eventually want to go 35, so new wheels (specs) needed then, don't want to go 17 until then. I also don't want to spring for a full new set as i really need something for a summer (hopefully).

If anyone knows of any leads please send them my way. I am happy to entertain a deal, but don't want to mess with anything less than 9/32s.

    Thanks everyone!

It is an uncommon size for sure. There is a whole group that run them, and they have been great for me so far. Finding them is a little difficult, and 16's limit choice by about 2/3. I'm not interested in stock tires though, MT only. I found one 6 hours away in Ohio on facebook, but still not worth the trip out there.

Yea, 6 hours is a bit far Mike. I just figured since this guy was selling a never used 16" full size spare for $100 you could snag that and be done.

    Hi Matt!
Would you please find me a used cap cheap like these only........ Leer 180 or ARE MX, 3rd Gen, DBL Cab, Long Bed, Inferno, Windoors w/Sliding Screens on both sides, Drop down front window w/Slider, Headliner, Roof Rails, and if you could, the Full Rear Door that replaces the tailgate. I can wire my lighting myself so that should make it easier.
    TIA!!!!!!
    Rob

Whoa! i found one here: leer.com and another one here at 4are.com ! Hahahahaha. :boink:

Damn, Gina. That's a laundry list! I keep my eyes out for something though!

I'm "kind of" putting myself in the market. With a bambino on the way though I'm still probably a ways off. Also, haven't ruled out going softopper.
