You typically buy boots smaller and have them punched a few times along with footbeds. This gets a tight fit in the boot. You do NOT want any play in your boot. You'll normally have to go back a time or two until it's right. (Should be covered by store you purchase from) some people can just walk in and BAM! fits perfect.
I have the Tecnica Cochise pro. Sick boot but they make a softer flex around 100 similar to that atomic boot. It has a wider last so depends if you have a wide or narrow foot

That Cochise is a pretty sick boot... Those are on my short list when I go next week.. My buddy has the 2014 Cochise 110 and he's always bragging them up..

No but thanks, I'll check it out!

I love mine! If they fit your foot, I highly recommend them

After driving all over central Mass trying to find so one who had both boots I was interested in, I ended up taking a cruise up to okemo. Decided on the Cochese.. The fit rite of the box rocked...

    Not yet :pout:

I give it another few weeks before Killington starts making snow though!
Hope it gets cold soon! I'm still building back up a torn MCL so wouldn't hurt to start a little late...
I want some new skis so trying to liquidate some of my assets!

    I see it out there!
The radar shows blue blips every once in a while. Saw some in the ADKs yesterday and then this morning showing it over MtWash.
It will start to smell like snow very soon.
    :D
I love this time of the year. It is like Christmas...waiting for that present.

Cool thread to stumble across! I got my fingers crossed the snow gods are going to be good to us this year. Can't wait to put some more days on my Chariot's this year. I finally dumped my 10 year old boots this summer and picked up some XT 120's which should be much easier to trek in. So pumped for this season!

No such thing as early season pow in the NE! Haha get yourself an Adirondack slide guide! Check out adkbcski.com for updates and snowpack conditions. Some great BC skiing here when the snow is good.
Nice setup! I have some Shiros with dukes and they are sick but with 3-7 mile one way trips they get very heavy! I might pick up something lighter. i recently moved and will be trying Killington this year, heard there is some ok BC around so ill have to check it out
