North ga meet and greet in Blue Ridge!

If we end at Hwy 60, go south to cooper's creek. Plenty of trails there. Lurpranger, if we are nice to you could you show us around in there?

I'm gonna be going up from Kennesaw.

 

I'm in. I'd like to meet up with some of you to caravan up. I'll be coming up I-85 N into Atlanta.

 

I went out ridin around this evenin on my way home from The Dark Knight (which was awesome, by the way), and I hit FS35/95. It's nothin hard at all. It's just a rough dirt road. A few mudholes towards the Hwy 60 end. If it's been rainin for a while, It could be fun. But, I went through in 2wd the whole way. Here's the aftermath.





Like i said, it's nothin bad. So if you're lookin for a good trail, this isn't it. Haha. If you're just lookin to get off the pavement for a few miles, it'll work.

Let's get this meet planned. I'm already to meet everyone again and see all these badass trucks. I'll have a new 10+ hp sticker on my truck in honor of my father. So let's make this a huge meet guys. Thanks to everyone who texted and pm'd me. It meant a lot.

 

I was gonna take some pics of the road we were goin on, but by the time I got up there it was dark so they really wouldn't have done too much.

 

Put me down as a strong maybe. I'm in Atlanta just off 85, up for a caravan for those that posted that idea. time to get some dirt on this stock pavement pusher

It's close to a 3 hour drive for me. Wish I could make it. These things always happen on the weekend. How come no one here works on the weekend like me?

 

Hey guys, I'm on the Fjcruiserforum and someone pointed this meet out to me. We were wondering if you guys would mind if some fj cruisers could tag along on this ride. Thought it would be cool if we got a toyota sibling thing going on. LMK and i'll post it up on the regional section of the fjcruiser forums.

Sounds good to me. We need to get a definte plan in place. What's the food situation? Are we grilling at a nearby house or do we need to maybe look at a nearby campsite/ outdoor area to grill and meet up before hitting the road. Second, should we look into an additional road or trail for those who want to make this an all day thing or for those who want to take their trucks to a more extreme trail, just in case.

 

Hey guys I'll be back on soon to update everything. With my fathers passing away its about all I'm dealing with right now. I will go ahead and yes. I don't care if Fj's or 4runner's come with us. I told my dad bout this meet and that I'm putting it together and he thought it was kool. We have the food taking care of and were trying to find a place to eat, campsite or a house or just by the river. I'll get all the plans straight in a day or two.
