Hmm i may. I have a race that Saturday yall are going. Anyone ever been up there? I live about 15 min from tray mountain and Upper Hightower is a lot better. Off roading wise. I havent been in a year or two so it may be even better than before. My truck being still stock it may be a challenge!

 

Been up where?

Last I've been to Trey was beginning of November and it was easy. Trey is a great spot to camp that's why we always go there. Well that's the point! Just not sure if anybody coming has a winch. I'm gonna talk to some guys this weekend that have winches. Just in case

 

I got a winch but I won't be there for Saturday morning wheeling. If it's gonna be later Saturday or Sunday I gotcha.

 

No winch for me

 

Upper Hightower road. I wouldn't say you would need a winch to go up there it may be handy tho. I just don't have a lot clearance and don't want to scratch or bang up the bottom of my truck on rocks. It's probably gets a little worse than the backside of tray mountain in places with more exposed rocks.
And tray is a fun spot to mess around I've only been up there once in my new Tacoma and that was when we had all the snow a few weeks ago

 

I have a winch as well and other recovery gear

 

Good! Glad we have a winch. It's more for insurance tbh. If it rains real bad and it gets soupy is the main reason I'd like to roll with at least one person with one.

I'll look into Upper Hightower Road this weekend

 

Upper hightower road is Charlie's creek its the same trail

 

And I went up it in the snow it wasn't too bad but I imagine if its wet and muddy it could be fun

You'll be fine in a stock truck, you might rub the fenders a little on the ruts at the end but nothing major

 

Yeah some people call it upper high tower rd but ones it turns into dirt it turns into Charlie's creek

May as well come and camp at Trey Saturday night since you're so close. Then hit Dick's Creek and then decide what you wanna do

 

I may ride up there that afternoon and/or Sunday. If I go race I'm not gonna be up for camping out but I'll come ride around with y'all

 

So where should I go tomorrow
