He gave up on towing me, so I found another passenger.

He is still welcome to tow me, to try out that rig of his, but my truck is full.

Looks like he will be game for a seat in a 4Runner. Should be a good turnout though.

Yeah; I want to get to some of those East Tx parks; but that will have to be a weekend trip for me.

According to Google Maps; Maud is way the hell out there - almost into Arkansas. Yeah; Tolar would be quite the drive for you, lol.

When I was out there last June (was it June, Blake?) The place was ranch roads with which were fine for 2x4 and the trails were pretty stout 4x4 trails. That said, the place is almost 800 acres in size... I know I haven't seen it all.

Alex, I cannot vouch for how well your truck will do; but there will probably be an open seat if you want to come up and ride along. Who is Beau? :)

Latest: We will be pulling out of Fort Worth around 8. That should put us in Tolar around 9:30. Get an hour or so wheeling in before lunch, and then 4-5 more hours after lunch.

Ohhh yeah; I remember you know. Working Saturday... sucks to be you then. :)

Bridgeport is probably a little far for you. I wouldn't mind hitting Alto sometime though. Do you know of anyplace around Waco to wheel?

    That's fine Blake.

When I come rolling up pulling it with my Tacoma, and you see that you're wasting your money on that Tundra, we'll talk.

But I saw somewhere about groceries. I'll bring cash, and give it to who ever buys the food. I could say that I'll bring something, but I won't. So it's better if I'm just up front about it now.

    31 hours and counting.

24 hours till I'm up tomorrow morning... hope I can get some sleep between here and there. Maybe I'll sneak out of work a little early to get some stuff done.

As for the food; I think between Trevor and I we'll have it covered.

Just wanted to say I'm still in.

Anyways, how many guys are taking their daily drivers like me? Im for sure going to play hard tomorrow, but there is no way I can keep up if most everyone will be in there tow rig. I used to have dedicated trail rig, but sold it, so I know how I treated it on the trail! It did not have to get me home!! Or to work on Monday! Anyways, hope I can hang with you guys, but I will be on the cautious side since its my DD.

Also, what time is everyone getting to the park tomorrow? I plan on arriving at 8:30-9:00am. Never been, so is there a meeting place? I'm guessing the check-in-office. Also, do we want to establish a CB channel now to make it easier to find everyone, especially if people are running late? Doesn't really matter what channel, so how about channel 17?

I'll be bringing 2 rigs, and may possibly wheel them both. Daily driver, and trail rig. I have yet to load up the trailer, to see how it's gonna sit. Hopefully I'll get that soon, before dark.
I believe we chose channel 21 for the cb.

I'm sure you will. And you if you break one if them. I'm gonna have to use your Tundra.

I wheeled my DD once... the open diff PreRunner did pretty good, lol. Since then I have wheeled with the trail rig; much easier on my wife's nerves, lol.

Blake and I will be over there around 8:30 to 9a.

Channel 21 it is. I'll set my CB in the morning.
