Sounds like a good time, but
I have to say no on this one. Going to Minneapolis Saturday Morning to visit stepson and daughter in law. She's expecting in a few weeks.

There are gas stations nearby. We will pass them on the way to the trails.

That said, it would be easier if everyone filled up before arriving. Depending on which way people are coming from, I'll be happy to locate a gas station along their route and post it here.

i am ready to camp, no tent, just an air mattress with a new (not yet tested) portable filler and a canvas/tarp for inclement weather.
until i can get a soft topper i can rough it a bit longer

is there a caravan meeting anywhere in the south or west by MN?
I have a variety of ways to get there and would like to avoid IL because of the garbage waterboard roads they have (or had) in case they redid US20

May have been mentioned, but communication - is there a preference of cb or gmrs (walkies)? Not sure if it'll be totally necessary anyway, but good to check beforehand.

Edit: re-read previous posts and see CB is noted, got it!

Channel 28. I'll try to have mine on in case anyone wants to check in when they get close.

Also, I added campground information in the OP. If anyone needs any other information, let me know.

Is anyone brining a canopy tent? I might have one, but I don't know if it will be big enough for everyone

I've already heard about one little deal going down, but if anyone is interested in selling or swapping anything this weekend post it up. I'm going to go through my stuff this week and see if there's anything I want to get rid of. I know i have EZ-Down Tailgate Kit that didn't fit, and some rail mount bike mounts that can go.

I have my stock 265/70/r16 Wrangler all terrain Kevlar spare tire if anyone's interested make an offer. Never been used, no dry rot or other signs of wear.

Also any CB radio suggestions? For purchasing. Preferably Amazon prime. Entry to midrange pricing.
I do have a baofeng already.

Calling an audible and not gonna make it -- family emergency currently and I got mandated for a shift over the weekend. Good luck to everyone and I am stoked to see pictures and hear stories.

Here's what I got earlier this year. It's been working great for me. It looks like the radio is out of stock right now. Maybe you can find something comparable.
