I have foil in the kitchen box always. Will be sure to double check it though.

Usually keep quarters in my truck but will double check it as well.

Hahaha. Man that was back in 2007 when i was still skinny and in the military. Also the beard makes a huge difference!

I have a tarp that i will be bringing along with some 550 cord. So we can use it for shade or a wind block, what ever the situation calls for.

Ha. Still going to call you Mr. Cuddles though...

That reminds me that I need to build my Luminoodle line to hang it between trucks or something...

buy some 550 cord from walmart, something that will wrap around your luminoodle and clip to the string...

I am thinking about running a 12v outlet to the rear of my truck, put it on a switch and be able to charge stuff in the back of the truck. Would also make getting power into the tent much easier also.

    Way to much...but not enough.
Pretty sure i have a long (20ft?) 12v cord you can have if you want. Or just pick up a portable batter pack to run the light in the tent and charge phones etc.

I have a ton of 550 cord at the house.

Yep, will be installing a Blue Sea Systems 12v outlet in the back of the truck in the coming weeks as well as a always on dual USB plug inside the truck. Just have to run the wiring for it. Will be able to run the Luminoodle and charge phones and so forth.

Should be pretty easy, in case you dont already know, below your front seats, there is a rubber grommet that you can feed wires through to the back of your truck. I ran my power wires through the engine firewall, down my door stills, under the carpet, through the hole, down the frame, to the rear.

I saw a bag full of stuff but i wasnt going to mess with it till i get the tent mounted. I guess i will have to mess with it now...

Yea, that is what I heard, was planning on using that grommet. Just not sure what gauge wire to run back there.

Honestly you would be fine running some 16 gauge speaker wire back there! Haha. I would recommend that you get real power wire though as it has better heat shielding! And 16 gauge should be plenty thick for a 12v plug.

I bet that if you were to look at the wires behind your factory 12v plug you would see 18 or 20 gauge wire.

Heck, I was going to do either 12 or 14 gauge wire as I was thinking about getting a small fuse block and have some other things ran off that wire.

Went ahead and ordered a National Luna Single Battery Monitor to hook up as well. Don't want to drain the battery somehow.

You could get a bussmann and run the wire off one of the constant power terminals to the rear of the truck that would have a bluesea block installed! but it would have to be very small and draw low power, depending on the size of the fuse you are running on the Bussmann. Maybe run a few small 12v items, luminoodle, phone charger, 12v water pump...

Yea, it would only be small 12V stuff, mainly LEDs and such.

I just need to order the bluesea block so I can do it all at once instead of in stages.

I also got a $50.00 coupon for Mobtown Offroad, so trying to decide which locking bed thing I want to get...

Did a test run of the Cheese steaks tonight. 2 Ribeye and a big piece of just flank steak was enough to make 6 pretty good size cheese steaks.

I need to cut the meat a lot thinner and will have to cook the meat with the onions after the onions have gotten nice and caramelized to really get the best outcome though. Also need better bread that is not fully sliced in half and two slices of provolone cheese per cheese steak.
