Get to Panther Junction EARLY if you want a back country camping permit. The permit office is on the east end of the building tucked around in a corner.

I-35 construction is atrocious from Waco to Austin I would recommend taking US 84 out of Waco down to Texas 16 then US 190 to Iraan then I-10 to 385.

We may have a Skottle style cooker since JOrasanu bought one this weekend...

    Woot!

    LESS THAN THREE WEEKS AWAY!

Start getting your checklists ready and plan accordingly for fuel, food, and so forth! Also a good idea to do a maintenance check on your rigs as well. I will be doing one the week after next.

I need to do that this week sometime so I can get all the stupid pollen off of the truck.

If anyone wants an excel spreadsheet checklist for camping stuff, here is one, can be tailored to suit.

I can do breakfast lol I don't trust myself cooking dinner for more people. How many eggs would everyone want? I was thinking eggs, bacon and tortilla and I'll bring salsa and stuff

I usually go with 2 eggs per person especially with bacon and tortillas.

That's basically what I planned to cook on Sunday morning too. Easy to plan for. Maybe 2-3 eggs each and there's like 11 or 12 people total? I was going to crack the eggs at home and store them in a sealed container. Easy to dispense and dispose without worrying about breaking eggs while traveling.

Jim, you're a genius. I never thought of cracking eggs and putting them in a bag. That could've been so helpful on my previous trips lol

I got an RTIC 65. So if anybody needs cold storage I should have some extra room.
