I hear you! I'm sitting here thinking that I never saw a road wash that good? Was the fog that thick?

Exactly! With no real lip on the Sport wheels, it's more than acceptable.

Ouch! She needs to join TW!

    It was great meeting her.

The "whimpy" stock T case skid is a fucking champ in my book:

IMHO, I think cranking the wheel controlled the decent better than brakes were going to!

Yeaaaah...it was on purpose. Rather than slamming down on the hard packed stuff at full speed. Yep you nailed it Tony.

Just a note for the drum brakes folks, there was nothing to worry about from the holes we hit yesterday. I had a bit of stuff on the outer lip between the drum and backing plate, but the important areas were perfectly clear.

after a quick clean up and inspection of my vehicle i have 2 scrapes, one on the driver side rear just past the wheel and on the driver side sliders where it hit the ball of tree roots, some touch up paint to cover those and im good to go

Google Timeline does not yet allow sharing or exporting. It is a bit unfortunate. If you have Location Sharing enabled on Gmaps, it will give you this same data even from out-of-service areas if you take a look.

This is the minimum zoom to see the FS road numbers:

The middle of the picture is the powerline climb:

I believe this is where you headed out? At that southern 180deg.

I just watched the video with sound on for the first time. I wanted to hear some mechanical sounds. The soundtrack was hilarious. I guess that I shoulda hit pause? :headbang: :taco:

Thankfully, that wasn't Enya or something.
